Our current Alegría Mobile Bookstore is an old van that we refurbished to volunteer bringing Latine/X books to schools, colleges and events since 2018. We need help upgrading it to be able to take it on tour and bring it to other underserved youth and communities around the U.S.
The mission of ALEGRÍA Bilingual Bookstores & Arts Collective is to educate, inspire and make a difference in our community through bilingual reading programs, book publishing & the performing arts for at risk youth and underserved communities.
Thank you for supporting Latine/X Writers & Poets,

Hola a todos!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
In the last couple of days, we've had a very nice momentum with the campaign. Thank you to each and every one of you.
That being said, we must reach $10,000 or get none of the funds we've raised so far.
You read that right, we either get to our minimum of $10,000 or we lose the $6000 we've raised so far.
Will you help us?
1- Get just ONE person in your life to give any amount.
2- Increase the amount of your contribution, but only if you're able to, we're already very grateful for your current support.
3- Share with others.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Hello everyone!
Today I'm having a rally to reach 100 supporters. Will you help?
We are currently at 83 supporters. Can you ask just one person in your life to contribute any amount?
Emilio and I thank you!
Dear Supporters,
Thank you for being the first ones to believe in our project. It means a lot to us. We are creating a space to celebrate the contributions of Latine/x/a/o poets and writers, which is something very close to my heart.
I'm reading out to ask for your help. We've raised close to $3500 which is great! But we must get to at least $25,000.
Could you reach out to one or two people in your life and ask them to make a contribution in any amount?
I'm so grateful to each of you!
Gracias!
