Time is money. Consolidating so many shots in one day in a quick turnaround encompasses its own risk. If we can’t film everything in time within a 12-hour time limit, that can weigh on the cast and crew’s mental and physical health.
Additionally, we work with expensive, heavy, and dangerous camera and lighting gear with replacement values that go upwards of thousands of dollars. If there’s any damage, theft or injury we have insurance.

Jessica Garcia (she/her) is a Queer Latina writer and director from Inglewood, CA. Since graduating from UC Merced with a Bachelors in English, Jessica has dove into the art of storytelling as a Writer and Video Producer for mitú and Creative Producer for MyCode. Altogether, the videos she has produced and directed have gained a total of over 20 million views, including integrated and sponsored content with prominent brands such as Toyota, State Farm and Clorox. With all of the stories Jessica shares, her goal is to bring authentic Latine and Queer representation to the screen. Ultimately, Jessica wants to make the movies that she wished she had seen growing up.
Josslyn Glenn (she/her) is a Southern California native and Black Latina transgender filmmaker, writer, spokesperson, and Outfest Programmer dedicated to promoting nuanced representations of queer and trans people of color that have historically been under- and misrepresented in media. Since graduating from UCLA with a dual degree in Chicana/o Studies and Gender Studies and a triple minor in Film, Television, and Digital Media; Spanish; and LGBTQ Studies, she has developed and produced content of her own, featuring predominantly Latino and Black American queer and trans characters.
Elizabeth (she/her) is a visual artist and film producer from SouthEast Los Angeles. A lover of the arts, adventurer, and old soul, she graduated from UCSD with a double B.A. in Communications and Theatre. Her preferred art mediums are collage, mixed media, and film. Elizabeth's enthusiasm for film & media has led her to work with entities such as PBS, Crimson Edge Productions, and Independent filmmakers as a production assistant and producer. Her current adventures are advocating and coordinating arts & culture programs/events in her South East LA community, and producing film & media projects inspired by her community and family.
Camilha Contreras (she/they) is a Colombian-American 1st Assistant Director and Filmmaker currently based in Los Angeles. Camilha earned a B.F.A. from Art Center College of Design’s film program where she found her strength as an Assistant Director. She began her career on "The Real" Talk Show and has worked on a variety of commercial, music video, film, and new media productions. She has collaborated with companies such as Rattling Stick, Tilta, Mitú, and Black Dog Films. Recently, she worked on "The Inconvenience Store" a short film created as part of ColorCreative’s Find Your People Program. Camilha finds purpose in sharing authentic stories from often marginalized or overlooked perspectives.
Kathryne (she/her) is an award-winning Director and Cinematographer of narrative and documentary films in the Los Angeles area. Most recently, she DPed the short film “ Fathead," which was made in partnership with Amazon, Narwhal Studion, and the ETC. A 2019 ASC Student Heritage Award Finalist and USC School of Cinematic Arts MFA graduate with a master’s degree in cinematography and directing with years of dual immersion Spanish bilingual education, she is dedicated to helping tell stories that make you feel and push for change.
Ang (they/them) is a Queer Latine Production Designer and artist living in Los Angeles. Their set dressing and building experience centers narrative shorts and music videos, and they are passionate about building immersive worlds for stories that reflect the experiences of queer and marginalized communities. They have an experimental short of their own on the way and their current dream is to run their own fabrication shop/build props for fashion shows or KPop music videos! When they aren't working on DIY projects around the house, they spend their time at the bouldering gym, the aerial dance studio, or in their mind (daydreaming about their next big idea).
Sandra (she/her) is a passionate makeup artist and full-time creative based in Los Angeles. Helping people feel beautiful is her true calling and she's been fortunate enough to own her own studio for the past five years. It is incredibly fulfilling for Sandra to bring out the unique beauty in each of her clients.
We are extremely happy to announce that we have been accepted into the Cinema Diverse: Palm Springs LGBTQ+ Film Festival!
Quinceañera will be screening on Saturday September 21st at 12:30pm pst.
