"What It’s LIke To Be Human" - Music for our Time
About The Project
Musical artist Beatificis poised to launch their first and upcoming full length album, “What It's Like To Be Human.” The music reflects the dynamic nature of the human experience…how it feels to be human in our time.
“I believe in the transformational power of music. The album, ‘What It’s Like To Be Human,’ is both personal and universal in scope. The songs span topics like childhood trauma, love, war, aging gracefully, environmental peril in an uncertain future, and how to stay true to ourselves in the midst of all of the chaos that surrounds us.” - Elad Marish
A California-drenched exploration into how we find our own Beatific moments in a complicated world, the project embodies deep grooves and modern rhythms rooted in indie rock, pop, and electro, and informed by melodic sensibilities and psychedelia.
Beatific is a musical project from the heart and brain of award-winning composer, producer, and sound designer Elad Marish. With three current EPs (Sunshine, Moonshine, and Analog Digital) and multiple remixes and singles, Marish brings Beatific to life through various collaborations with incredible artists.
Elad also runs Swell Music + Sound, a premiere boutique music and audio post house in the Bay Area. At Swell. He serves as the creative director and also does music composition, sound design, and final mix on projects.
“What It’s Like To Be Human” is Elad's latest project and first full length LP, to be recorded live in the studio at Airship Laboratories.

Growing up, Elad Marish played guitar and sang in bands. Interested in musical scoring and production, he taught himself Protools, Logic, and Ableton, efforts that led to connections with various studios and artists around Los Angeles. Many projects later, Marish relocated to San Francisco where he founded Swell Music + Sound, a 2000 sq ft facility in downtown’s Jackson Square with a legendary reel and collection of talent.
Years of composing and directing top quality music and sound for Swell’s vast clientele (such as Nike, Golden State Warriors, and Beyonce) and producing and writing music under different monikers, Marish’s vision hit the sweet spot with Beatific.
